During a difficult time in my life 15 years ago, I made myself this little triangle necklace.
I placed it around my neck with a clear intention:
No matter how much pressure you put on any of its sides, it is impossible to break.
Your foundations are strong.
You source all you need from within.
At that time, I simply tied it around my neck in a knot.
There was something raw and powerful about that. No clasp, no polish, just me, claiming my strength.
When I began making them for others, I added a clasp. I wanted it to still carry the same handmade feel it had when I first created it. The energy, the meaning, the power remains.
There’s nothing to them, really. No frills, no flash.
But the intention they hold is mine and my son’s hearts.
The intention they hold is a powerful one.
I allowed this tiny little symbol to help remind me of my personal power.
I have been wearing one ever since.
And for over 15 years, I’ve made them for others to help them remember all they hold inside themselves.
There isn’t anything you can’t get through if you believe in yourself.
You are the creator of your life.
